Eileen Theresa Cronin Marmon, 76, beloved mother of Kathleen Ann Marmon and Gail Marmon Dehn, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, June 11. She was born on July 17, 1940, in Revere, Mass. She attended nursing school in Chelsea, Mass., graduating in 1962. Eileen worked as a nurse providing compassionate care in Boston, Mass., San Francisco, Cal., and Annapolis, Md. It was a job she loved and for which she was extremely well-suited. Her kindness, warmth and optimism were appreciated by the countless patients she served. A born adventurer, Eileen loved travel and relished planning trips for herself and others. She celebrated small and big events with a sense of grandeur. She made everything special - meals, birthdays, holidays, day trips, road trips, and vacations of all kinds. She loved reading, music, and summer days at the beach or pool. Few things gave Eileen as much pleasure as being a mother and grandmother. She was a loyal and dedicated friend who had many lasting friendships from all phases of her life. She is preceded in death by her father Timothy Cronin, her mother Helen Cronin, and her brother Kevin Cronin. She is survived by Kathleen Ann Marmon and Gail Marmon Dehn, her daughters with former husband of 34 years, Charles William Marmon, her son-in-law William Dehn, her granddaughters Charlotte and Elsie Dehn, her brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Gail Cronin, her sister and brother-in-law Maureen and Paul Roche, two nieces, six nephews, and many dear friends.
