Eleanor was born on May 14, 1927 and passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

Eleanor was a resident of Cloquet, Minnesota at the time of passing.

She graduated from Cloquet High School in 1945.

She is survived by two sons, Allan (Christine) of Chaska and Gene (Marie) of Oakdale; one daughter, Colleen (Fabricio Mercadal) Aho of Minneapolis; sister, Bernice Denzler of Cloquet; brothers, Lawrence (Jo) Matlock of Burnsville, Bernard Matlock of Cloquet, Kenneth (Karen) Matlock of Brewster, Mass. and James (Delores) Matlock of Apple Valley; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 10 until the 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service Monday, January 15, 2018 in the Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St., Cloquet. Inurnment will be in New Calvary Cemetery.
