Elise E. Lambert, 91 of Hooksett, NH died peacefully on May 23, 2016.

Elise was born on September 11, 1924 in Hooksett to Rodolphe and Alice (Thibodeau) Duhaime, one of 13 children. She attended local schools and for several years worked as a seamstress, however her most precious time was caring for her beloved husband William H. Lambert Sr. "Bill" and their 5 children.

For a period of 20 years Elise and Bill lived in Plymouth, NH. After Bill's death Elise returned back to her roots and the town she loved, Hooksett. Family was most important to Elise. Picnics and time spent with loved ones at Bear Brook and Newfound Lake were very special. Elise enjoyed playing cards with her sisters, cooking, crafting and especially quilting.

Elise was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church of Hooksett, a devoted and loving mother, memere and great-memere who will be dearly missed.

Predeceasing Elise was her husband William H. Lambert Sr. in 1998, two sisters; Yvonne Duhaime and Muriel Clement; six brothers, Alphee, Armand, Edmond, Gerald, Bertrand, and Lucien Duhaime.

Surviving are her children; William H. Lambert Jr. and his wife Doreen of Hooksett; four daughters, Louise Randall and her husband Michael of Rumney, Linda Noble and her husband Charles of Hillsboro, Priscilla Dumka and her husband Philip of Carlisle, MA, and Nancy Haught of Manchester. Also surviving are her sisters Imelda Walas, Bernadette Lortie, Carmelle LaRochelle and her husband Bob, and Lillian Ouellette; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A period of visitation for Elise will be held this Thursday, May 26th from 6 to 9 PM at the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., Manchester. A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial for Elise will be celebrated Friday, May 27th at Holy Rosary Church, 21 Main St. Hooksett, NH. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Elise's name to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org, or the Home Health & Hospice Care of Merrimack at www.hhhc.org.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home especially A-1, A-2, and our amazing Hospice team.
