Elizabeth Alice Stark, 90, of Estes Park passed away on December 12, 2010. Elizabeth was born on June 27, 1920 in Des Moines, Iowa to Frederick and Alice Jane (Jones) Fillingham. In 1938 she graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines, IA. Elizabeth married L. Darwin Stark on February 1, 1941 in St. Joe, Mo. Darwin passed away on November 16, 2005. Elizabeth was a homemaker. She was an excellent artist and was very good at portraits. Elizabeth loved to write poetry. She enjoyed traveling and loved to dance. Elizabeth loved their home in the mountains and all the wildlife around. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents; husband Darwin; sons Lee and Roger; sisters Florence Deets and Lucille Payton; and 3 infant brothers. She is survived by son Bruce (Peggy) Stark of Loveland; sister Helen Cassady of San Francisco, CA; daughter in law Phyllis Stark of Greeley, CO; daughter-in-law Francie Stark of Gallop, NM; grandchildren Jeff Stark, Dianna Stark, Kristi Gillespie, Heather Pate, Nick Stark, Bathia Ose, Evan Stark, Emily Stark and Dylan Stark; and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation is on Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with Funeral Services starting at 2:00 pm at the Resthaven Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
