Accurso, Elizabeth Ann, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on November 15, 2017. Liz was born and raised in Dayton, Tennessee. She attended college at the University of Tampa where she met and married the love of her life, Frank Accurso. She went on to receive her Master’s degree from the University of South Florida and was a teacher for 40 years at Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary.



Elizabeth is survived by her four daughters, JoAnn Accurso Brown, Cathy (Howard McFarlane), Allison (Nancy Cunningham) and Shirley Kruger (Donald), two beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown Amick (Aaron) and Jennifer Dixon Brown, sister-in-law, Janie Antinori and niece and nephews, Joyce Trespalacios, Danny DeLaRosa and Paul Muley (Elaine). She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Accurso, her father John Thomas Lambert and mother Mae Patton Lambert.



The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon, November 20 from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Blount Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Avenue. The funeral will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm followed by interment at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Danny DeLaRosa, Paul Muley, Anthony Trespalacios, Aaron Amick, Howard McFarlane, Donald Kruger and Hal Brown.
