Elizabeth passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016.

Elizabeth was a resident of DeLand, Florida at the time of her passing.

Betsy earned her Bachelor's Degree from the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina and her Master's Degree from Appalachian State University.

Her service will be at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Wilkesboro North Carolina at 1:30 p.m. on Monday November 28th 2016 with Rev. Ann Dieterle officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Parrish Hall following the burial.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Old Wilkes Inc. or the Zola Barber Scholarship Fund at Wilkes Community College.
