Beth was born on December 9th, 1964 at Emory Hospital, the only girl, and middle of three children. Beth went to Lakeside High School (1982) and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems (1986). While at Georgia, Beth was a member of the varsity cheerleading squad, Alpha Omicron Pi, Golden Key National Honor Society, and Miss Georgia Football Court. She was an active member of Northside United Methodist Church, and her compassion for others led to many philanthropic activities including Board of Director positions at Refugee Resettlement Services of Atlanta and the Fugees Academy. Beth loved to lift others up, had a servant’s heart and was always up for an adventure. In November 2017, Beth will be honored as one of the Winship 80 which will celebrate 80 individuals or groups with significant influence on Winship Cancer Center’s growth into a transformative cancer center over the past eight decades.
