Elizabeth L. Onstott of Fort Collins died on June 17, 2011 at the Lemay Avenue Health and Rehab Center. She was born on July 27, 1930 in Springfield, Co, to Ralph and Lucy (King) Kelsey. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1948. She married Howard McGee in Springfield 1949 and he passed away in 1968. On March 1, 1983, she married Carroll A. Onstott in Rapid City, SD. He passed away in 2005. She worked as a secretary in Colorado and Montana from 1965 until her retirement in 1983. Elizabeth loved to crochet, sew and was an oil painter. She enjoyed bowling, teaching Sunday school, and spending time with her family. Elizabeth always made a house a home no matter where she lived. She became a Christian in her mid 30's and served the Lord faithfully. She blessed many people over the years with her life. Her favorite bible verse was Galatians 2:20. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Loveland for six years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Springfield for over 30 years, where she was very involved in various groups and organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, a son, Rick McGee, and a brother, W.D. Kelsey. Elizabeth is survived by sons, Rod (Ronda) McGee of Springfield, CO, Mark (Robin) McGee of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Marilyn (Justin) Fulton of Fort Collins, CO; step-children David (Char) Onstott of NV, Dortha (Marvin) Jones of Rapid City, SD, and Carolyn (Jim) Curly of Pahoa, HI; grandchildren, Calandra, Lindsey, Micah, Kelsey, Morgan, Austin, Cameron, Charity, Karis, and Lane; 12 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 23, 1:00pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to Rod McGee in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525. All funds will be donated to missionaries supported by the Victory Baptist Church.
