Emerald L. Beidelschies, 73, of West Milton, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015, at his residence. He was born November 2, 1941, in Hancock Co., Ohio, to the late Lehr Edward Beidelschies and Hazel Lucetta (Wise) Beidelschies Huffman.
Emerald is also survived by his wife, Susan M. (Smallwood) Beidelschies; four children, Kevin (Sherrie) Kibler, Joe (Jackie) Beidelschies, Lehr Beidelschies, and Michelle (Herk) Richardson; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Beverly Hudson, Carol Stone, and Susan Hildebrand.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Honeywell after years as a sales representative. Emerald was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St., West Milton, with Chaplain Samuel Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Online memories may be left for the family at hale-sarver.com.
