Ernest Webb Graham
1930-2017

Ernest Webb Graham, 86, of Pensacola, FL threw off his earthly body for his new body with Jesus, peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family Sunday, August 13, 2017.
Ernie was born on October 19, 1930 to Liston and Sara Etta (Davis) Graham. He graduated from Ernest Ward High School in 1948. On May 9, 1954, he married Ruth Sample, and together they raised three children: Judi, Kevin and Janna.
Ernie was a strong man of God who devoted his life to God, family and work. He was a member and former Deacon of Plainview Baptist Church since 1959 and made sure his children were in church growing up. He truly loved the outdoors. If he wasn't working, he was outside fishing, hunting and working in his yard. His fried fish easily rivaled the fish served in the best restaurants!
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved grandson Brandon Childress, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Ruth Graham, his children: Judi (Kevin) Picard, Kevin Graham and Janna (Tim) Nash; grandchildren Jordan and Nina Gann, Cheyenne (Nathan) White and Lexie Nash; great-grandchildren Presley Rae, Aspyn and Hazel, two sisters: Ann (Calvin) McCall and Cheryl (Lamar) Wasdin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, with a service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. and committal afterward at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Plainview Baptist Church, 1101 West 9 Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534 or Emerald Coast Hospice of Pensacola, 5111 N. 12th Ave., Suite B, Pensacola, FL. The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving care given by Emerald Coast Hospice and especially by Nila and Sharon.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
