Eston was born on March 2, 1926 and passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016.

Eston was a resident of Crawfordsville, Indiana at the time of his passing.

He graduated from Alamo High School in 1944.

Eston enlisted in the Army Air Corps serving as a B-17 ball turret gunner with the 457th Bombardment Group stationed in England. He completed 13 combat missions over Nazi-occupied Europe earning the Air Medal American Theater Ribbon EAME Ribbon with two Bronze Stars Bronze Star Medal with one Bronze Cluster and the World War II Victory Medal. He then proudly continued his service as an Air Force reservist with active duty assignments during the Korean War.

He was married to Helen.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 14 2016 at Hunt Son Funeral Home with visitation from 9-11 a.m. Interment will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery South.
