Ethel Marie Aupied Foret entered peacefully into heaven on Thursday, October 12, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. The devoted wife of the late Alcide Foret for 41 years. A loving mother of Karen Foret Davis (Paul) of Gonzales, LA. A proud grandmother of Ashley Davies (Brian), Paul Davis III and great grandmother of Parker Luck Davies. Daughter of the late Felice Andras Aupied and Edward Aupied. Preceded in death by her brothers; Lawrence Aupied, Welton Aupied, Clyde Aupied and Edward Aupied. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Eula Champagne, by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Age 94, a native of Thibodeaux, LA and was a resident of Luling, LA and later in life of Baton Rouge, LA. A business owner of a Grocery Store in Luling and landlord by trade. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and mostly spending time with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Dr., Luling, LA at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment in St. Charles Masoleum, Luling, LA. Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA in charge of funeral arrangements.
