MISSOULA – Eudora I. Huppe, 74, of Missoula, passed away Sunday morning, April 15, 2012, at home after extended illnesses. Dorie was born April 6, 1938, in Missoula to Levi and Erma Hutchins. She grew up with her family on South Avenue West. She attended Franklin/Whittier/Jefferson grade schools and graduated from Missoula County High School in 1956. On July 21, 1956, she married Russell Howe and they had three wonderful sons, Marty and Michael of Missoula and Monty of Kalispell. She has three granddaughters, Nicole Howe of Kalispell and Jennifer and Christine Howe of Missoula; one great- granddaughter, Holly, and one great-grandson due May 19. On April 4, 1987, she married Andre Huppe and they lived in southern California for about three years before returning to Missoula and settling in Turah. She is survived by her husband Andre of 25 years; her three sons and their families; two sisters, Camilla Eddy and Eileen Brown and many nieces and nephews. Dorie, an accomplished pianist by age 18, was the most kindhearted, loving, giving, nurturing mother, grandmother, wife or friend that anyone could have. She always had a smile for you and enjoyed anything that had to do with family or friends. Dorie, a treasure, will live forever in our hearts. There will be no visiting hours. Memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 830 South Ave., Missoula at 2 p.m. on April 28. Please join us for a celebration of Dorie's life at Immanuel Lutheran Church following the service.
