Eugene H. Coan, 82, of Nashua, NH passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. He was born in Chicago, IL on February 16, 1929, the son of the late Herbert H. and Effie (Berg) Coan.

Mr. Coan was educated in the Chicago school system. He relocated to NH in 1972 and has been a Nashua resident since 1974. Eugene served his Country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed for many years as an Offset Printer for Lockheed Sanders Assoc., now know as BAE. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing games on the computer, reading, watching TV and his daily walks.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a son, Jeffery Coan in February of this year.

Mr. Coan is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Pauline P. (Roark) Coan of Nashua, NH; a son, Gary Coan and his wife Minnie of Las Vegas, NV, a sister, Joanne Blanchette and her husband Jack of Tyngsboro, MA; three grandchildren, Amanda Coan, James and Tiana Follette; two great grandchildren, Finnian Cheney and Andrew Follette; as well as many nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2 PM at Hollis Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 282 Broad Street, Hollis, NH 03049, all are invited to attend. Per the families request no flowers please. The ST. LAURENT FUNERAL HOME, 116 Elm Street, Nashua, NH 03060 has been entrusted with arrangements.
