Felix "Isaiah" Salazar, 18, of New Braunfels, went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 30, 2017. He was born in New Braunfels, Texas to Estevan, Jr. and Henrietta Salazar on December 17, 1998.
Isaiah was an active son and athlete. He started off at the young age of 6, played football for CFPO for the Bears. Then started playing for New Braunfels Little League Baseball, where he earned a spot in the All-Stars each year. He graduated onto the Middle School Level. He played football, basketball and tennis. Isaiah won All-District while playing tennis his 1st and only year. Now came High School, where he continued playing football and basketball, and was able to begin baseball as well. Last year Isaiah earned 6A-D Bat Hitter of the week out of All Texas High School Baseball Players. Just this weekend he had just bought a new baseball glove and had shared that he was going to take All-District this year, which would have been his Senior Year. Isaiah loved his nieces and nephews. He would always take his nephews out to play ball. This included his oldest niece. He would coach them and teach them the sport. It could be football, basketball, baseball or softball which his niece plays. He Loved Life! In fact, he was known by the saying, "Live Life." He will be missed by all his family and friends. Rest in Peace.
He is survived by his mother, Henrietta Salazar; brother Estevan Salazar, III and Danielle Martinez; sisters Jennifer Nunez and husband Raul, Crystal Natal and husband John, Stephanie Salazar and husband Francisco, and Felisha Salazar; paternal grandfather, Estevan Salazar, Sr. and wife Rosa; Paternal grandmother, Gloria Gonzalez and husband Macario; maternal grandmother, Nicolasa Villanueva; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Estevan Salazar, Jr.; maternal grandfather, Felix Villanueva; and brother, Emilio Gabriel Salazar.
