Felomino "Meno" Arizo Ancheta, age 59, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017, surrounded by family in his home following a lung cancer diagnosis nine months prior.

He was born July 5, 1957, in Santa Maria, Pangasinan, Philippines, the son of Catalino and Sixta Arizo. Born and raised in the Philippines, he eventually settled to Austin, Texas in the early eighties.

Meno was an avid tennis player, gardener, ballroom dancer, billiards player, an excellent chess player, and a wonderful chef.

Mr. Ancheta is survived by his wife Edna Ancheta; daughter, Glory Ancheta; son, Philip Ancheta;, daughter, Mendy Ancheta; sister, Maternidad Deoferio; brother, Arthur Ancheta; sister, Margarita Agpawa; sister, Rebecca Hendrix; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister Agripina Beck; brother, Eusebio Ancheta; sister, Florentina Ancheta Madayag; and sister, Leonila Ancheta Alleluya.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, June 10, 2017, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church, at 10,000 David Moore Drive in Austin, Texas.
