Ruth Ann (Vosberg) DeWitt was born February 10, 1947, to Otto and Ruth Vosberg. Caring, feisty, and one-of-a-kind, full of life, love, and character, Ruth was the kind of person who would give you her last dollar and find two more for you. She never knew a stranger, had enough love in her heart to take in any and all (2 or 4 legged) who needed shelter, and loved her family more than anything. Ruth was raised on a farm outside of Rockwell City where her love of family, animals, flowers, and butterflies grew. It was also where she was ingrained with her hard work ethics. She then spent most of her life working in restaurants and bars (where she earned the nickname "Flo") before she settled into work at Farner Bocken.
Ruthie left this world Saturday, June 3rd, 2017, to join her mom, dad, and Blue Dog in a better place where butterflies are free. Left behind to carry on her legacy were her four children: Tami (Rick) Burdine, Charles (Ann) DeWitt, Susie (Chad) Stickrod, and Randy (Leora) DeWitt. She was also survived by her significant other, Bob Calhoon, 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, other family members, numerous friends, her dog, and her cats.

Her family invites you to "go with the Flo" one more time and join her in a celebration of life Friday, June 23rd, at 5 p.m. at University 40 (south of Lohrville), or the Lohrville Community Center in case of rain.
