Frances Gonzalez loved being a wife & mother, but being a grandmother is what she loved the most. She has seven grandchildren and always enjoyed hearing from them whether in person or by phone. Frances always enjoyed family time with her brothers & sisters and looked forward to the next function where she knew she would see them again. She had a love of music and dancing and you could always interest her in a telenovela! Cooking especially made her happy, and tamales and Mexican bread pudding were her specialty! The bread pudding, she believed, was only for Lent so that will really be missed, specifically by her brother Joe Pecina. Her love & devotion for her children & grandchildren could only be matched by her devotion to God, Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Jude. She prayed to them daily (2x/day!) and had candles burning from sun up to sun down.

She is preceded in death by Bill Smith (spouse), Angel Gonzalez (spouse), Roy Pecina, Richard Luna, Alex Luna, Pete Pecina & May Pecina (brothers/sisters). She is survived by brother Joe Pecina & his wife Gloria Pecina; Reyes G. Falcon (son); Rosanna Hughey (daughter) and her husband Beau Hughey; and her grandchildren Nikolas Falcon, Damien Falcon, Ted Falcon, Jack Falcon, Laura Hughey, Eve Hughey & Joseph Hughey; along with her best friend & confidant Rose Esquivel; and several family & friends.

Mom: you will be loved & missed forever,
