Frank was born on August 24, 1923 and passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016.

Frank was a resident of Plainville, Connecticut at the time of his passing.

He attended elementary schools and High School in New Britain. He continued on with his education and graduated from High School in 1947. After graduation he attended the CRL School of Electronics in Hartford for 2 years and received a certificate as an Electronic Technician.

Before graduation he entered military service with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was actively engaged in combat duty in the Pacific Theater of Operations serving aboard the USS LST 986. During this period he received 7 campaign medals. After 3 years of military service, he was honorably discharged with the rank of Signalman First Class.

He was married to Elizabeth (Olesak) Uryga.

Funeral services for Frank will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville to Our Lady of Mercy Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Today's Events
