Frank was born on June 28, 1938 and passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019.

Frank was a resident of Smithfield, Rhode Island at the time of passing.

A graduate of Loyola University and the University of Maryland Medical School, Dr. Detorie was the former Chief of Surgery at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, and had his own surgical practice in Cumberland, retiring three years ago.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion. Burial will follow. Donations may be made to: John P. Burke Memorial Fund 1 Buttonhole Drive, Providence RI 02909-5750 http://www.burkefund.org St. Ambrose Church Maintenance Fund 191 School Street, Albion RI 02802 http://www.stambrosechurchri.org Visitation at the Bellows Funeral Chapel from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on May 15, 2019.
