Frank R. Wagner Sr., 84, Exeter Township, went home to be with the Lord April 24, 2007, at 6:05 p.m. in his residence. He was the loving husband of Betty J. (Bush) Wagner, Exeter Township, for 61 years. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John R. Wagner and Eva E. (Crammer) Wagner. Wagner was employed for 35 years as a glazer by Berks Lehigh Glass, retiring in 1988. He was a decorated member of the Army Rangers with the 30th Division. Serving the country he loved in World War II where he was wounded twice and was a prisoner of war. He is also survived by a son, Frank R. Jr., husband of Sun P. (Kang) Wagner, Exeter Township. Other survivors include three grandchildren: Frank R. Wagner III, Michael P. Wagner and In Ok Jang; and five great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family who loved him very much and would like to say, “ We’ll see you in heaven Pop.” Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Berks County Memorial Gardens, the Rev. Charles S. Nease Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Home Care, 2615 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, PA 19606. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
