Fred was born on October 28, 1936 and passed away peacefully at his home in Harrison, Ohio on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.

Fred graduated from Taylor High School then served his country in the US Army, stationed in Paris, France.

Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue C. McGuire in 2012.

Survived by his 4 children: Christi Wondrely (Rusty), Sally Kerr (Dan), KC Dent (Bill) and Joel McGuire; 10 grandchildren, Nathan Kerr, Chloe Stagaman, Katy Kerr, Andy Kerr, John Stagaman, Heather Wondrely, Elise Stagaman, Kelley McGuire, Kristen McGuire and Charlie McGuire.

Fred is also survived by his sister-in-law Joan (the late Bill) Frazer of Dent, Ohio; sister-in-law Jenny (the late Gary) Grubbs of Okeana, Ohio; and brother-in-law Moe (Pam) Frazer of Sarasota, Florida.

Visitation will be Monday September 18, 2017 from 5-7 PM followed by services at 7:00 PM all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030 with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 with military honors.
