Fred was born on July 8, 1924 and passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018.

Fred was a resident of Wilmington, Ohio at the time of passing.

He was a 1942 graduate of Wilmington High School and served in the U.S Army during World War II under General Patton in the Third Army Division.

The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the church with Rev. Marie Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 49 Honor Guard. Mike Cowman, Mark Cowman, Justin Cowman, Chris Cowman, Jaytee Swanson, Mark Lane, Pat Haley, Bill Lankswhert, and Ron Ratliff will serve as pallbearers..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wilmington United Methodist Church, 50 E. Locust St., Wilmington, OH 45177.
