Genover was born on December 2, 1929 and passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Genover was a resident of North Carolina at the time of passing.

She attended Kannapolis schools and graduated from Cannon High School.

Visitation: 10-11:00 AM Wednesday, May 17, at The Arbors United Methodist Church (formerly Gay's Chapel) in the sanctuary. Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 17 at The Arbors United Methodist Church (formerly Gay's Chapel) conducted by Rev. Mary Gordon and Rev. Frank Gordon with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Arbors, 5545 Woodleaf Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144.
