George was born on November 3, 1938 and passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.
George was a resident of Roanoke, Virginia at the time of passing.
George attended Jefferson High School. He later graduated from Roanoke College with a B.A. Degree University of Virginia with his Masters of Education Degree and from the University of Maryland with his Doctorate of Education Degree.
George was married to Nancy.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday November 29 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Steven Pollard officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Monday November 28 at Oakeyâs South Chapel 540-989-3131.
