George was born on February 14, 1914 and passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017.

George was a resident of Hartville, Ohio at the time of passing.

After graduating from Memorial High School in Campbell, he was a Medical Corps Sergeant at base hospitals on the Alaska Islands Amchitka and Kodiak.
