George Lee Ellsworth Sr., of Edgewood, MD, died at the age of 82 on November 20, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. He was born in Jarratt, VA to Earl Thomas and Lucy Mae (Mason) Ellsworth and was the husband, for 54 years, of the late Vivian Marie Ellsworth. He served our country in the U.S. Army and enjoyed working on automobiles and helping in the community as well as being a Past Post Commander for Charlton-Miller VFW Post 6054. Survivors include his children, Brian Ellsworth Sr. and wife, Ninfa, of Aberdeen, Raynarda Williams of Joppa, Kevin Ellsworth of Cockeysville, Tanya Blacker and husband, Keith, of Edgewood, George Ellsworth Jr. and wife, Kim, of Duluth, MN and Trinice Watts, of Nacrose, GA; siblings, Joyce Wright of Virginia Beach, VA, Audrey Taylor of Richmond, VA, Gladys Taylor of Jarratt, VA, Frances Dugger of Newport News, VA, Shirley Taylor of Jarratt, VA, Emma Ellsworth of Richmond, VA, Amos Ellsworth of Emporia, VA, Philip Ellsworth of Newark, NJ and Deannie Ellsworth of Emporia, VA; Aunt Seabird Miller of New York, NY; grandchildren, Ramon Ellsworth and wife, Sharika, Raqueal Ellsworth, Brian Ellsworth Jr., Kevin Ellsworth II, Brittany Falls, Cody Blacker, Hailey Blacker, Aina Ellsworth, Whitney Ellsworth, Monica Queen, Makyla Phillips, Bonita Wicker, Martika Stokes, Mariana Phillips, Breanna Jones, Romeo Watts, Ayva Frazier and A'mya Frazier; and great-grandchildren, Corvan Johnson Jr., Rahmire Ellsworth, Jade Ellsworth, Damontre Ellis, Jailyn Ellis, Nabre Henderson and Brandon Byrd Jr. He also has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his siblings, Earl Ellsworth, Mitchell Ellsworth, Joe Henry Ellsworth, Douglas Ellsworth, Elsie Pegram, Clara Robertson and Barbara Ellsworth.
