George was born on June 29, 1925 and passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018.

George was a resident of Virginia at the time of passing.

After one year he volunteered for the Army Air Corps where he served as a navigator.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 8, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Funeral service officiated by the Reverend Sven vanBaars will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, at Abingdon Episcopal Church in Gloucester.
