Mr. Valhos was born on June 12, 1927 and passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Mr. Valhos was a resident of New Hampshire at the time of passing.

George attended Dover schools, leaving at only sixteen when his mother died, to join the Merchant Marines during World War II, and did several convoys in the Atlantic, Pacific and Mediterranean aboard liberty ships.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Greek Orthodox Church Locust St., Dover, NH with Father Timothy Curren officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Greek Cemetery on Spur Road, Dover, NH.
