George was born on June 5, 1935 and passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019.

George was a resident of Maine at the time of passing.

He was a graduate of Portland High School and Amherst College, attended Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and served in the Navy in Corpus Christie, Texas before returning permanently to Maine.
