Gerald was born on June 20, 1937 and passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017.

Gerald was a resident of Kansas.

He graduated from Northwestern Military and Emporia State University where he received his B.S. and M.S. degrees.

A Celebration of his Life will be held from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 16 2017 in the Manchester Parlors at Aldersgate Village 7220 SW Asbury Drive Topeka KS. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday May 17 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. Private family burial will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery Funeral Chapel.

Memorial contributions in Chris honor may be made to the Alzheimers Association 3625 SW 29th St. Suite 102 Topeka KS 66614 or to Girls on the Run a program of the YWCA Northeast Kansas Northeast 225 SW 12th Street Topeka KS 66612.
