Gerald was born on June 27, 1926 and passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016.

Gerald was a resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma at the time of his passing.

Gerald attended Centerview School. He graduated in 1944. He graduated from Oklahoma AM College now Oklahoma State University in 1950 with his Bachelors degree in Agricultural Education and from the University of Oklahoma in 1962 with his Masters degree in Education Administration.

He served two years in U.S. Army Intelligence during World War II.

He was married to Donna.

Family members will receive visitors Monday October 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City. The funeral service will be Tuesday October 18 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Midwest City with interment following at Garden Grove Cemetery northeast of Shawnee.
