GILES, Germaine I., 83, of Seffner, Fla., passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 after complications from surgery. She was born on January 1, 1934, at Point Au Roche, N.Y., the daughter of the late Alexander and Emelia (Tetreault) Boire.
Germaine graduated from Chazy Central Rural School in 1952 and later from Loretta Business School in Plattsburgh, N.Y. She was working in a bank when she met her husband, John A. "Jack" Giles, who was in the Air Force. They were married on April 26, 1958, and traveled the world during their 45 year marriage. She was a loving wife, mother, and aunt. She was a gifted artist and shared her paintings with many family members. Our hearts are broken as she was irreplaceable.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Seffner, and the Women's Auxiliary of the DAV.

She is survived by her three children, George A. of Plano, Tx.; John F. and Janet R., both of Seffner, Fla.; her remaining siblings and their spouses, Gabriel Boire of Westboro, Mass., Arthur and Jeanne Boire of Point Au Roche, N.Y.; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Boire of Altona, N.Y., and Rosemary Boire of Beekmantown, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Donald Favreau of Chazy, N.Y.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Jack; brothers, John, Louis, Leo, Donald, Orel, Marcel, and Roger Boire; sisters Loretta Favreau, Gloria Boire, and Madelaine Favreau; five sisters-in-law, Evelyn, Eva, Geneva, Theresa, and Marie; and one brother-in-law, Lawrence Favreau.

A memorial mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi, Seffner, Fla. Inurnment in Hillsborough Memorial Gardens to be scheduled at a later date.
