Gerrard was born on November 21, 1926 and passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018.

Gerrard was a resident of New York at the time of passing.

He was a graduate of Dansville Central High School, class of 1944' On August 12, 1950, he was married to Norma Lang Maltby, 67 years, who survives.

"Bud" was a WWII Army Veteran who proudly served his country in 1945 and 1946 with the 193rd Tank Battalion on the Island of Okinawa, Japan and later with Battery A 586th AAA Battalion, Army of Occupation.

Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Grace Baptist Church in Dansville where a funeral service will be held at the completion of calling hours with the Rev. David Theobald officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Grace Baptist Church.
