Reverend Dr. Fitzsimmons was born on November 2, 1942 and passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019.

Reverend Dr. Fitzsimmons was a resident of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

Gil was a graduate of Davis & Elkins College, former Chaplain Intern/Resident at Central State Hospital, also a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA, Columbia Theological Seminary, and the University of Pittsburgh.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Interment will be held privately.
