Gladys Mae Hamm of Port Deposit, formerly of Aberdeen, died Wednesday, September 14 at Citizens Care Center. She was 73. Born in Bel Air, MD she was the daughter of the late Troy and Eva (King) Hawks. Mrs. Hamm had been a hostess and server at the Bayou Restaurant in Havre de Grace. She enjoyed doing puzzles, fishing and being outdoors, especially being on the Susquehanna River. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Burlie P. Hamm; son, Samuel P. Hamm of Perryville; daughter, Deborah S. Marshall of Port Deposit, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her daughter, Cindy L. Hall.
