Glenn Wollweber passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Glenn was born to Henry and Inez Wollweber on October 19, 1931 in Spokane, Washington and grew up on the family farm north of Reardan. He graduated from Edwall High School in 1951; he was then drafted into the Air Force from the Air National Guard and served in England. He was active in the Springdale Community Church, the Gideon's, Reardan Lions Club, and the American Legion. He married Ruth Van Damme of Spokane in 1968. They took many trips with the Alpha Omega Tours and toured Alaska, Hawaii, and several other countries in Europe. He is survived by his wife and two children, a daughter, Shirley Fritsch (Stephan) and a son, Scott Wollweber; a granddaughter, Alexa Schuon; a brother, Ed (Carol) Wollweber. He is preceded in death by his brothers Alvin and Harold Wollweber, a sister, Betty Bogart and his parents. Interment will be on May 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Spring Creek Cemetery located on Spring Creek Grange Road (approximately 6 miles north of Reardan on Highway 231).
