Gloria graduated from the Los Angeles City College and then became a legal secretary for The Department of Justice - Lands Division. She volunteered with the American Red Cross as a Gray Lady and was active in the Officers' Wives Club at The Air Force Academy. She was a free-lance writer and member of the National Federation of Press Women. Gloria was a founding member of the Widowed Persons Association of California, a contributor and editor of their monthly newsletter and served as President. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and two sons. In addition, she enjoyed reading, flower arranging and golfing.
She is preceded in death by her: Parents: Robert & Margaret Mohn. Husband: Col. Henry E. Wojdyla. Sister: Peggy Gilman.
Survived by her Sons: Henry "Hank" (Janet) Wojdyla Jr., Papillion, NE. Richard (Robbie) Wojdyla, Littleton, CO. Grandson: Henry E. ( Kassandre) Wojdyla Ill. Denver, CO. Other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service Tuesday August 22nd, at 10:00 am, Brookestone Meadows Rehabilitation and Care Center, 600 Brookestone Meadows Plaza, Elkhorn, Nebraska. Gloria's final resting place will be with her husband Colonel Henry E Wojdyla at the Air Force Academy Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO. where they were stationed for seven wonderful years.
