Gordon Donald Wagner died peacefully with family by his side June 30, 2017. He was born February 27, 1944 in Spokane, Washington to Herman John and Lillian Jane (McKinnon) Wagner and was the youngest of two children.

Gordon graduated from Harrington High School in 1962. He attended classes at Eastern Washington University then joined the United States Coast Guard serving our country for 8 years.

Gordon married Celia Lee Haworth on April 23, 1972. They adopted Lara Kathleen in 1973. Celia passed away in 1977. On July 7, 1979 he married Dorothy Jeanne Adams in Blackfoot, Idaho.

Gordon was employed as an Agricultural Consultant for over 42 years, working at Cominco American in Potlatch, Idaho, then joining the McGregor Company in 1987. He was Plant Manager at the Plaza, Washington plant from 1992 until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Moscow, ID Elks ,and Spokane Yacht Club.

Gordon cherished his family and friends. He loved boating, RVing, and golfing. He enjoyed helping his cousin John on the farm during spring planting and harvest. Gordon is survived by his wife Jeanne, daughter Lara (Mike Weaver), grandchildren Michael and Celia (and Fiancée Brandon Sanner and his son William). Sister-in Law Jackie Babcock, brother-in-Law Maurice (Colleen) Adams, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Green, and wife Celia.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Harrington United Methodist Church, Harrington, WA with Pastor Michelle Mitchell, officiating.
