Gordon was born on April 25, 1931 and passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016.

Gordon was a resident of Spokane, Washington at the time of passing.

He attended Rogers High School.

He enlisted in the Army National Guard; he then joined the US Navy. He served our country from May 7 1952 to May 1 1990. Gordon received many commendation medals including a Purple Heart. He served on the USS Cabot Bon Homme Richard Coral Sea Hancock and USS Constellation. He served our country during the Korean War to the beginning of the Iraq War. He retired from the US Navy as an E-9 Command Master Chief of the Pacific Fleet.

A funeral service for Gordon will be held on Wednesday November 30 2016 at 1pm at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a graveside service with military honors.
