Dean was born on March 20, 1938 in Versailles, MO the son of William Orlando and Ruby Irene (Kidwell) Caldwell who preceded him in death. He was married on October 4, 1959 in Boonville, MO to Judy Lymer, who survives of the home. Prior to working at S & C Sales for over 25 years, he worked for many years at International Harvester and never knew a stranger. In his spare time, Dean spent many years enjoying tractor pulls, coaching Keith and Kevin’s baseball teams, going to moto-cross races, bowling, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family. Deano (as he was known to many) was always quick to produce a comical one-liner in any given situation to make people laugh. Many people also remember him as a great roller skater, and the fact that even into his 60’s, he could walk across a room on his hands.

Other survivors include: three children, Keith Caldwell (Marcey) of Boonville, MO, Kevin Caldwell (Monique) of Rocheport, MO and Kimberly Harris (Fred) of Boonville, MO; four grandchildren, Austin Caldwell, Arliss Caldwell, Bryce Page and Brayden Page; one brother, Mancel Caldwell of Boonville, and six sisters, Laverne Caldwell of St. Louis, MO, Margaret Knierim of Boonville, MO, Cathy Oswald of Boonville, MO, Peggy Clay of Moberly, MO, Donna Winningham of Boonville, MO and Carolyn King of Mississippi.
