Harold "Skip" Hardwick, 76, passed away October 13, 2016. Survived by the love of his life of 33 years, Priscilla; children, Lisa (Paul) Porter, Rich (Jen) Mayo, Bill (Monica) Hardwick, Mike (Kelly) Hardwick, Matt (Tammy) Hardwick all of Pueblo, Chris (Chandra) Hardwick of Bailey, Colo., and Jeff Hardwick of Pueblo; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; great grandchild, Ashton Porter; sister, Beverly (Dennis) Nitschke of Lakeland, Fla.; and sisters-in-law, Terri (John) Patterson of White River Junction, Vt. and Jeannette (Fran) Twiss of Elberton, Ga. Preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Jacob Porter. Skip was born to Veta and Harold Hardwick on November 2, 1939, in Pueblo. He was an Air Force veteran and successful businessman. Skip owned and operated Hardwicks which was a grocery store, meat market, restaurant and catering company. He retired in 2004. Skip was an avid fisherman, musician, barbershopper, bowler and golfer. He loved camping, gardening, the Broncos and especially the Lord and his family. We would like to give a special thank you to his doctors, nurses and caregivers at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital as well as the Dorcy Cancer Center. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Celebration of life, 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at the Pueblo IAFF Local #3, 116 N. Main Street.
