Harold Morton Haggard of Kansas City, MO, died November 30, 2017, at the age of 89.

Harold is survived by his wife of 56 glorious years, Mary Adele Haggard, his son, David Haggard of Lee’s Summit, MO, his daughters, Ellen Crouse and Helen Knott of Cookeville, TN, Barbara Furnari of Gladstone, MO, Dorothy Dickey of KCMO, Jenny Haggard of KCMO and Pam Chastain of KCMO, 19 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Field and Margaret Long, his parents, Cecil and Henry Haggard, and baby, Bailey, grandchild.

Harold was born August 23, 1928 in Maple Park, MO. He was a Corporal in the US Army and served in the Korean War. He married Mary Adele Wagner on June 17, 1961 in Shawnee, KS.

Harold belonged to Sheet Metal Local #2, and worked for TWA as a sheet metal mechanic for 25 years before retiring. He spent many hours in his wood working shop creating beautiful intricate masterpieces.

His children remember him as a kind, gentle, giving, hard-working father and husband. He devoted many, many years of his life to raising his family and helping others in need. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00am Saturday December 9, 2017 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church (6415 NE Antioch Rd Gladstone, MO 64119)
