Harold was born on July 18, 1919 and passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Harold was a resident of Wisconsin. Harold was formerly from Dubuque, Iowa.

Harold graduated at Bondurant High School in Iowa.

Entered the US Army during WWII and served in the 753rd Tank Battalion where he saw action in France Germany Sicily and Africa. He received 6 bronze stars a combat medal and ribbon with bronze arrowhead among others.

To celebrate Harold's life family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Friday June 16 2017 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home N7199 N Crystal Lake Road Beaver Dam WI. To honor Harold's life funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday June 16 2017 with Pastor Bruce McMurray officiating. Military honors to be conducted by the Beaver Dam American Legion Post 146.To celebrate Harold's life visitation will also take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:30 p.m. at Behr Funeral Home 1491 Main Street Dubuque Iowa on Saturday June 17 2017. To honor Harold's life funeral services will follow at the Behr Funeral Home in Dubuque at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens.
