Life Story On March 9, 2015, God called His angel, Hazel Williams-Pree. She was born on December 5, 1942 to the late Mary Lou Williams and James Underwood. Hazel went to school in Warsaw, North Carolina and graduated from North Carolina A & T College. Later, she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1966, she started to work for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and after 37 years, she retired in 2003. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was baptized under the late Reverend Petercan. Later she joined First Corinthian Baptist Church under the late Reverend Silas Thomas but then her health started to fail and she could not attend anymore. She renewed her faith every Sunday as she got on board with Bishop T. D. Jakes or the late Bishop G. E. Patterson. Hazel joined the Universal Masonic Brotherhood Inc. of the Eastern Star in the late 1970's, where she served on the board and was very dedicated for 43 years. Hazel met and married the late George Patterson and with this unity, one child was born. In 1983, she married the late Earl O. Pree, Jr. They shared a beautiful marriage together. Her loved ones preceded her in death her mother, Mary Lou Williams-Cooper; brother, Walter Lee Cooper; nephew, Dereck Cooper. Survivors that she leaves behind includes: her daughter, Clementine Patterson (Daniel); grandson, Tyrone C. Graves, Jr.; two great granddaughters, Ameerah and Ameena Graves; three aunts, Emma Potts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ruthel Gray of Baltimore, MD and Dora Aiken of Warsaw, NC; one uncle, Willie (Elouise) Williams, Sr. o f Warsaw, NC; a host of other relatives and friends.
