Vance, Helen Lucille

Age 92, joined the church triumphant on Monday, September 11, 2017 at RidgeCrest Health Campus. Helen was born to Marcus and Esther Keagle on March 2, 1925. She married her best friend, Robert James Vance on January 19, 1946 upon his return from the war. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, five brothers and sisters and her extra special granddaughter, Sarah Maria. She is survived by her daughters, Dianna (Robert) Burger, and Jennifer (William) Bailey; best friend and sister, Shirley (Frank) Miller; brother, Charles (Pat) Keagle; grandchildren, Dawn Jackson, Jennifer (Abel) Nieto, Melissa (Thomas) Metzger, Kevin (Jodi) King, Brian King, Rebecca (David) Raus, Robert (Carol) Burger; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Katelyn Nieto, Bentley Bailey; great-great-grandchildren, Alyssa Burger and Evalyn King. A celebration of Helen's life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 743 W. Michigan, Jackson, Michigan on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM, Reverend Dr. James D. Hegedus officiating. A special thank you to the staff at RidgeCrest Health Campus, Great Lakes Hospice and the undying love and support of Dr. Patricia Lamb M.D., Marty and Pam. Memorial contributions for those who wish may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Music Department.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
