Helen Rose Zimmerebner, 88, of Little Rock, died on April 20. 2017. Helen was born on October 12, 1928 in St. Vincent, Arkansas to Freda and Joseph Zimmerebner. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Marie, Angeline and Josephine Zimmerebner, Albertine Oswald, Ernestine Hum and infant brother, Andrew Henry Zimmerebner.

After graduating from Jacksonville High School, Helen’s work career began at the Credit Bureau of Greater Little Rock where she worked for 45 years. While terminal director supervisor, she successfully transitioned the bureau from the card file system to a fully computerized one. She valued her employees and motivated them to be the best they could be.

Surviving her are: Vickey Metrailer (Jim), Karen Collins, Sharon Anthony (Clyde), Patrick Hum (Lisa), Gary Hum (Charlsie), Julie Sperry (Larry), Joe Oswald (Karen), and good friends, Joann and Lucian Kitta. She also treasured her great nieces and nephews and their children who gave her much joy the last few years.

Helen’s family expresses our deep gratitude to her doctors, caregivers, and friends who cared for, loved and laughed with her over the past three years. In particular, we thank Duana Flowers who was her rock these last months. Memorials can be made to St. Theresa’s Catholic School.
