Henry "Buster" Louis Schulze, III, 83, of Dallas passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017. He was born on June 26, 1933 in Brenham, Texas to the late Henry Louis Schulze, Jr. and Bonnie Schulze.



Mr. Schulze attended the University of Texas as well as served in the Army National Guard in the 49th Armored Division for 11 years. Buster started working at U.S. Steel Supply Division and worked his way up from the warehouse to General Manager where he managed over four states. He was dedicated to the steel industry for 35 years. Amongst being a hard worker he was involved in the Oak Cliff Masonic Lodge #303 as well as the Steel Service Center Institute. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking for his family.



Buster is survived by his wife of 60 years Carolyn R. Schulze, son Russell Schulze, daughter Gayle Higginbotham, sister Barbara Klussman, four grandchildren Travis, Lindsay and husband Clint, Ashley and Shawn, six great grandchildren Clayton, Brianna, Layla, Jackson, Logan and Greyson and two nephews. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by many aunts and uncles.



A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home with Brian Treadaway officiating. The family received friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Burial will take place at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas 75219. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Kindred Hospice but especially to Joe, Oma, and Carol.
