Herbert was born on March 29, 1929 and passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017.

Herbert was a resident of Virginia at the time of passing.

Herbert graduated from Achilles High School and began his career as an engineering technician at NASA in 1947.

He also served in the U S Coast Guard for three years from 1950 - 1953.

A funeral service officiated by Reverend Bud Goude will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2017, at Gloucester Point Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery.

In memory of Herbert the family desires contributions be given to Alzheimer's Association, Gloucester Chapter, P. O. Box 1881, Gloucester, VA 23061.
