Hilda was born on September 25, 1920 and passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

Hilda was a resident of Adamstown, Maryland at the time of passing.

Hilda graduated from Frederick High school and married Ernie in 1939, and, like so many other young wives, held down the home front while her husband went into military service during World War II.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Avenue, Frederick, Maryland. A private family burial will be held at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral Service at the Frederick Church of the Brethren at 11:00 AM on October 20, 2017. Friday October 20, 2017 11:00 AM Frederick Church of the Brethren 201 Fairview Ave. Frederick , Maryland 21701 Funeral Service at the Frederick Church of the Brethren at 11:00 AM on October 20, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Deacon's Fund at the Frederick Church of the Brethren or to the Ernest and Hilda Ausherman Scholarship Fund at Bridgewater College.
